Rock Chick by Lover's Choice
Recently, I received the infamous Rock Chick to test out thanks to the folks over at Good Vibrations (http://www.goodvibes.com). I have been waiting for what seems like forever to test this one out. I have a similar toy – the G-Rock by Cal Exotics – and it’s one of my favorites. Before I tell you about the Rock Chick, let me tell you why I love my G-Rock. The G-Rock is one of my favorites because of its versatility. It’s a clitoral vibe, g-spot stimulator, and for me – used for double vaginal penetration with my partner. I can easily use another bullet/egg vibe in front of the clitoral end of the G-Rock and it doesn’t get in the way, although it’s a shame I need to use a separate bullet at all but what do I expect, I like power. Because of it’s slim size it’s great to get me warmed up and ready for double vaginal penetration – the G-Rock and my male partner. It fits nicely and feels great. I don’t like the watch batteries and find that everything gets stuck to it (lint, hair, etc) but I clean it before and after play so I don’t mind. The G-Rock is a great toy and I expected the Rock Chick to be similar and I was right. It’s silicone and I love silicone. Silicone a hygienic material if cleaned properly (boiling water, dishwasher – top shelf no soap, 10% bleach solution, etc), in this case the bullet must be removed before submerging in water or putting it in the dishwasher. It’s waterproof, but I would still recommend removing the bullet. The good thing is that the bullet is removable! That means when (yes, when) the motor in the bullet dies, you can replace the cheap bullet as opposed to replacing the entire $66 toy. That also means if you just want some clitoral stimulation or need a bullet from another toy you can pull it out and use it. The bullet is much easier to remove in the Rock Chick than the G-Rock. It’s also much easier to turn on and off. Unfortunately both use watch batteries. If I made sex toys they would all use AA batteries, but that’s just me. On a side note, it must be stored properly (away from other silicone) and you can’t use it with silicone lube (silicone lube will break down the silicone in silicone toys and leave your lovely sex toy looking like a lump of Swiss cheese). I’ve been keeping mine in a nifty satin bag in one of my Sex Toy Cases (www.foryournymphomation.com) next to the bed. The first time I tried it I was in the mood for a full body g-spot orgasm and I wanted it NOW so my expectations were very high. I pulled out the toy cleaned it off and put a small drop of Good Clean Love - Almost Naked Personal Lubricant (www.goodcleanlove.com) on the tip. I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of vibration but even the most powerful bullet out there isn’t powerful enough for me and with the silicone around it, I didn’t expect much. It also wasn’t hitting my clit like I would have wanted it to. No big deal though. I just pulled out my regular bullet and put it in front of the Rock Chick. I could still feel the vibrations internally from the Rock Chick, which felt great; I just needed more power on my clit. The curve on the inserted was a little awkward at first but it still did the trick, it just took some getting used to. I was 0 to “O” in less than 2 minutes, the first time. My expectations were met and the Rock Chick has earned it’s home in my Favorite Sex Toy Case next to my bed. In comparison, I love both the Rock Chick and G-Rock and can’t say one is really better than the other. I use the Rock Chick when I want to play alone and the G-Rock when I’m looking to play with my partner or get a little double penetration. Each fulfills it’s own special need and both are essentials in my toy box. For more information on these or other G-Spot Toys, check out one of my upcoming workshops!
